Sanje safari is a local tour operating company in Tanzania. With over 15 years creating memorable experiences, Tanzania is our passion.

If you are thinking of spending your next holiday viewing the prolific wildlife of Africa, scaling the continent's highest mountain, or relaxing on the palm fringed shores of the Indian Ocean, then Tanzania is your ideal safari destination.

Lying just south of the equator Tanzania is East Africa's largest country, and an immensely rewarding place to visit. The enormous volcanic caldera of Ngorongoro Crater is the highlight, providing a year around for wildlife in a glorious setting and also the starting point for a wild hike through the Crater Highlands and past Tanzania's only active volcanic Mountain the  Ol doinyo Lengai, to Lake Natron , an immense soda lake that appeals to flamingos and desert fantastic alike.

The Serengeti, west of Ngorongoro, needs no introduction; it's well-documented annual migration of over a million wildebeest, zebras and antelopes provide one of the world's most awesome wildlife spectacles. Tarangire, fantastic for elephants, whose size is amply complemented by forests of gigantic baobabs. Lake Manyara , at the foot of a particularly spectacular sections of the Rift Valley escarpment; and Arusha National Park, which contain the country's second -highest mountain, Mount Meru.
Mount Kilimanjaro, the snow-capped ( 5891 ) , the challenging ascent of which is one of the classic African adventures.
Heading south of the country, Ruaha National Park,  very famous for the diversity of wildlife, is where the south meet the north.

Lake Tanganyika the world's longest ( and second-deepest) fresh water lake. Lake Victoria, the world's second-largest freshwater lake. Lake Nyasa, the southernmost of the Rift Valley lakes and home to hundreds of species of colorful cichlid fish.

The Indian Ocean coastline offers an altogether different Tanzanian experience. The most obvious attractions are the idyllic beaches and out-standing coral reefs-paradise for scuba- divers. Especially recommend for diving and snorkeling is the island paradise of Zanzibar, one of Africa's most famous and enticing destinations, comprising the islands of Unguja and Pemba, which have idyllic beaches and multicolored coral reefs aplenty. Mafia Archipelago has its own share of historical ruins, as well as stunning coral reefs which offer superlative snorkeling and diving.
With our specially modified fleet of Land Cruiser 4x4 vehicles, we are able to cater for groups of all sizes from the single traveller, to small, medium and large groups as well as international conferences, meetings, incentives and shore excursions for luxury passenger cruise ships.
